In September, 2014, the City of Crystal Lake awarded Autotrol Corporation a plaque celebrating its 50th Year Anniversary. This Community Investment Award and a Mayoral Proclamation acknowledged Autotrol’s contribution to the Crystal Lake business community. Autotrol has been manufacturing AC and DC Gear Motors in Crystal Lake, Illinois since 1964.
